Sung Il Tex Vietnam announced that it has officially completed the establishment of a 100% Made in Vietnam lining supply chain dedicated to Vietnam and countries with which Vietnam maintains Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). This milestone marks a significant advancement in the company’s ability to supply Vietnam-origin certified lining products that global fashion brands increasingly require.
According to Mr. Kr Kang, Managing Director of Sung Il Tex Vietnam, the new supply chain was built to meet rapidly growing demand for Vietnam-origin materials.
“Global brands, particularly in the United States, Europe, and CPTPP member countries, are actively seeking alternative supply chains outside of China,” said Mr. Kang. “Demand for Vietnam-origin linings is rising quickly as brands aim to maximize tariff benefits. Sung Il Tex Vietnam has established a complete Vietnam-based production platform to meet these needs.”
The newly established supply chain includes:
Local Vietnam sourcing of yarns and a network of weaving and knitting production partners
Local dyeing and finishing facilities that comply with international environmental standards
In-country inventory and logistics centers enabling fast delivery
Provision of origin documents, including CPTPP and other FTA certificates
With this infrastructure, Sung Il Tex Vietnam can supply a wide range of Vietnam-produced lining materials—including polyester, recycled polyester, and cotton—meeting global brand requirements while offering key advantages such as shorter lead times, reduced logistics risk, and maximized FTA tariff benefits.
Mr. Kr Kang further emphasized the long-term strategic importance of the initiative:
