Flooding, Landslides Leave Ten Dead in Vietnam
A catastrophic landslide at Khanh Le Pass killed six people, while a separate mudslide at Khanh Son Pass resulted in one additional fatality.
Three more victims perished after floodwaters swept them away or they lost their footing while attempting to cross a submerged bridge.
The disaster has inundated approximately 9,000 residential structures across 14 communes and wards throughout Khanh Hoa Province. Mountain regions have experienced extensive landslides, severing transportation routes and creating dangerous conditions for local populations.
Authorities evacuated more than 6,500 people from flood-affected zones by Wednesday morning.
