Three Die as Floods Ravage N. Vietnam
As reported by local media, the disaster has taken a heavy toll on property and agriculture. A total of 815 homes sustained damage, while floodwaters swamped over 1,970 hectares of rice paddies and various other crops. In addition, more than 3,900 livestock animals and nearly 170,000 poultry were lost.
The report emphasized that the intense rainfall in recent days has triggered widespread flooding and dangerous landslides in several provinces across northern Vietnam.
Local governments have responded swiftly, evacuating affected communities, redirecting traffic flow, and deploying emergency teams to safeguard residents and keep transportation routes open, the agency added.
